Eren is a mama to three very energetic little boys...twin 7 year olds and a 5 year old. Eren supplements her boys' public school education with as many nature inspired activities as she can squeeze in between soccer games and making peanut butter sandwiches. She continues to be amazed that despite living in a cookie cutter neighborhood, there are opportunities to be awed by the natural world as seen by the many experiments on their nature table. Eren blogs at Vintage Chica.

Stefani is one of the original creators of The Magnifying Glass and the very talented woman behind the Blue Yonder Ranch blog and the author of The Book of Days. Stefani is passionate about introducing her boys, one spider web at a time, to the wonder of the natural world. She (against her better judgement) encourages her three boys to track dirt from one end of their Texas hill country house to the other...and then takes beautiful pictures of it all.

Annie is a part-time special education and literacy teacher and full-time mama to a six-year old girl (who has negotiation skills that would put experienced diplomats to shame). She sews, folds endless laundry and hoards field guides in a small lakeside city near the Green Mountains in Vermont. You can read more about her well-intentioned (and often misguided) adventures in parenting, crafting and putting a husband through medical school on her blog, Bird and Little Bird and her flickr photos.

Dawn is a California girl living in the chilly coastal north of Nova Scotia, Canada. She is mom to a nature loving six year-old daughter and a four year-old son who is more than happy to watch and leave the touching to big sister. They divide their time between the forest and the beach, which are both within walking distance of their home. She blogs about their nature based homeschooling experience at To The Outskirts. See more of Dawn's photos on her flickr page.

Nancy is a mama of two, a girl (age 6) and a boy (age 5). She spent most of her childhood in Guatemala and Sweden, and her parents instilled in their family a thirst for learning and exploring the world. A lawyer by profession, Nancy left her career to stay home with her children; she and her husband now make their home in Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C. When she isn’t sewing or trying out a new recipe or tromping through the woods with her little ones, she can be found on her blog, Summer Sky: Learning as I go or posting her photos on flickr.
