You know how we love our moss (see the previous post).
Well, while looking into the requirements for a good moss garden, we came across this tutorial for how to make a moss milkshake.
We mixed some of our favorite moss specimens with a little buttermilk in the blender. Then spread the mixture in a very shady, wet area.
Our moss garden is outside near the area where our water hose drips, but we still water it lightly everyday.
We'll keep you posted on the success (or not) of our little project, but hopefully we'll have a full fledged moss garden in a few weeks.
